The hands behind the craft

TangCraft began with a simple observation: some of the most beautiful objects in the world are made in small workshops across China — by hands that have practiced a single craft for decades — yet they rarely travel beyond the neighborhood where they were made.

We curate from independent workshops across China — porcelain from Jingdezhen, woodwork from Shandong, textiles and paper craft from Suzhou. Every piece we list is inspected and photographed by our own team and described as honestly as we can. No invisible middlemen: each one-of-a-kind piece travels from the workshop to our studio and then to you, trackable the whole way.

What we believe

• Craft over volume. Many pieces are one of a kind. When it sells, it is gone.
• Fair pay, always. We pay our partner workshops fairly and upfront for every piece, supporting the craft's future.
• Honest descriptions. Small variations are the signature of handwork, and we say so.

Shipping & service

We ship worldwide from China with tracking on every order (typically 14–30 days). If a piece arrives damaged, we make it right — see our refund policy.
